Honda X11OC History and Mission Statement

Honda introduced the mighty CB1100SF X11 to a quizzical market in 1999. Initial press reports were positive with reviewers raving about the bikes abundance of power and its brutal styling. However, this honeymoon period was to be short lived as they quickly started beating it with the "ugly stick" and that was the theme from then on in almost every review. This short sighted attitude from the press really had a massive, negative, impact on sales and sadly Honda dropped the X11 from its portfolio in 2003 after only one minor revision to a bike so clearly ahead of its time.

Riders however, loved it! Anyone who actually swung a leg over the beast just couldn't get enough of it. Of course, they had to be a special breed of rider in the first place. Brave enough to accept the challenge of riding such a bike and thick skinned enough to ignore the comments from the uninitiated.

In 2001 here in the UK, a small group of "aficionados" was prompted to set up an owners meeting after replying to a bulletin board post by an enthusiastic X11 owner called "Phil Bowring". We quickly established ourselves into the "X11OC" when another enthusiast "Fast Eddy" set up a web site to publicise and co-ordinate the planned event. So the club and web site was formed and has evolved into the extensive site that we have today. The site and club is still run by "Fast Eddy" although, he'll be the first to admit that he's not as fast as he once was!

We welcome all owners and fans of the Honda X11 to join us in our X11OC and forums. We have always had a "family" feel to our club and you'll quickly feel at home.

So join us today! Just register on our forums and be a part of one of the biggest X11 clubs in the World!

  Honda x11 For Sale.

Sadly for sale, my beloved x11.

She's a 2002 SF-1 Model in Blue on an 02 plate.

Under 4,000 miles, yes really!

New Tyres, Metz Z6's.

New battery.

Fast Eddy handlebar risers of course, but with a new top bridge cover in case you wish to revert to standard.

Givi colour matched screen

Pyramid Hugger but with the original chainguard in case you wish to revert to standard.

Honda heated grips.

Front fenda-extenda.

Brake delink kit (original pipework included if you prefer the CBS)

Full Krauser 3 box luggage system designed for the x11, see my Gallery for pictures (available with the bike or can be removed).

As you can imagine everything is pretty much like new and this presents an almost unique opportunity to replace your high mileage x11. So sell that and buy this one.

I've a whole host of spares available which I'll offer to the buyer first... but then put up for sale separately if they don't want them with the bike.

Inc Akropovic full system, brand new boxed x11 rear shock, brakes, bearings, silencers, new boxed waterpump, oh allsorts.... I can't even remember most of what's in there.

I'm open to sensible offers for the bike or indeed the whole package. So PM me on the forum for further details etc.

I won't sell any parts until they either go with the bike or until the bike has gone, so don't ask!

I'm only advertising the bike on here, not on any of the usual places, as I'd rather it went to a club member. I'm also in no rush to sell it as I'm quite happy to wait until the right buyer wants it.

You'll have to register on the forum to contact me.

There's a couple of high res images here....
