Read American Honda article ST1100 ...... and here's a few words from same !!

" I did not adjust the valves after break in..just changed oil, filter. They were checked at 25,000miles .... and Honda mechanic said then, only one valve was out of spec" ... Honda build quality

Not sure what Honda..and warranty manager would say though ;D
