replacing lost keys

hi, can the keys be cut and chipped for the x11? i only got one key with my bike so obviously im a bit concerned over losing it. ive heard if both keys are lost the ecu and all the locks need replacing. could honda cut and chip one from my remaining key? or is there a little market stall run by some credit card hacker that can do them? thanks paul.

Hi Paul

You can get two more keys coded to your ecu , get the blanks from a honda dealer then cut to your original. Then you need to have them coded to the ecu this is done with a special tool from honda , basicaly a piece of wire with a conector to jump the ecu into coding a new key.
