Hello, I have to take the tank out, so i can paint it.

Is there somthing that i would have to be aware or can somebody tell the eaisest way to do it?

The best way to get the tank off is to use all the fuel up first as it will take ages to empty it through the fuel pipe assy , also have a nice clean container to hand when you undo the fuel lines as fuel will go every where.

Its a lot easier if you use some hose clamps. I put my clamps as close to where the 2 pipes disconnect from the fuel rail as possible. Doing this,i spilled a lot less fuel and when the tanks off,you can just take the clamps off and empty out the remaining fuel ;D

I remember the first time i removed my tank,and got petrol all over the bloody garage...and me!! :BangHead:lol
