Blackbird exhaust cans

I'm sure this may have been asked before, but will Blackbird end cans fit straight on to an X11? There are some Remus and IXIL on a well known site at the mo that would do nicely if they will fit?

They will fit, basically.

The standard Blackie cans fit perfectly. I have a mint pair of an early carbed bird.

Most aftermarket cans for the bird should fit the x11 though.

I have a pair of Blackbird cans that don't fit. The pipe on the front end of the can is narrower than on the X11.

I had a pair of 'Slack-Tart' cans on my x11 that fitted no problems.

I also had a pair of BlueFlame slip-ons that fitted, and like said above, they were narrower at the join - so I just left the pair of heat resistant carbon sleeves out and just bolted the two together metal-to-metal - the join wasn't air tight, but it was near enough and worked a treat with no probs.
