Cush Drive

Hi,

 

The cush drive rubbers are knackered in mine. Cant source the correct ones anywhere. Do Blackbird ones fit?

from what i can see the cush drive from the blackbird has a different part number. you could try buying it and returning if it doesnt fit but i would try to get a x11 set. have you checked webike japan? i've found they have most parts for a very affordable price. only shipping ads greatly to cost and it takes long to arrive. baboon motorcycle parts here in the netherlands has a secondhand set!

Thank you but I'm reluctant to re-use rubbers. Part number different alright but was hoping somebody would have tried it.

No joy on webike, David Silver or any main dealers.

Something that I have considered but haven't yet tried is try to "shim" the cush drive rubbers with slices  of inner tube? Sounds a little Heath Robinson-ish but can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work....
