Hot frame

I've been enjoying running around on my newly acquired X11 - it really is a great bike.

Amongst the things I've noticed is that the frame around the engine gets really hot! Is this normal?

I can see how it could be handy in the winter, but it must play havoc with the steering head bearings....

That's normal Martynn , however you are correct about the steering head bearings drying out , this is also due to Mr Honda saving a few pence by not giving them much grease in the first place , Something maybe to look at over the Winter !
