Rear brake pedals

Is it me............or when you apply the rear brake with your (9.5inch) booted foot that the brake pedal feels like it's half hidden under the bike

 

I always feel like wanting to bend the bugger outwards instead of curling my foot  

 

Anyone else feel the same or am I.........................................special

I don't have that problem with the x11 but the same thing stoppes me from buying a triumph as the lever was half in thr case casting and I had to twist my foot toward the centre of the bike to brake.
