... and this is what it can be if your X rattles a bit and it's NOT that bloody camchain tensioner:

..I know where the rest of the plastic slider is.. in the sump/filter!

For those that don't know, this is to top camchain slider ("Guide B"), there should be a plastic pad, most of which is missing -and it shouldn't have a set of camchain wear marks in it where the guide used to be!

Nice that you found the reason for the noise.

Not sure if i have posted photos about one BB chain tensioner/guide what was broken, it was very very near total destruction.
