Raise rear suspension

Hi,

I'm planning to raise the rear suspension. Any suggested methods? I've seen washers being placed at the upper shock mount. Seems easy, but how much? And in that case, what should I do about the fixation of the coolant bowl?

Any ideas, and pictures of successful mods, are welcome.
