Oil level

7 posts in this topic

Hi guys,

may seem like a stupid question , but have just changed the oil & filter on the X11 and wondered wether, when checking the oil-level, the dipstick has to be fully screwed in or just inserted without screwing up, ( sounds like a sex film)

I allways unscrew it, wipe it clean and then screw it back in fully, then out again, then check the level.

I allways thought that's how it's done.

Yes, I did the screw in, screw out, check thing too and Ken let me know how smart I was for doing that.

Just ask yourselves: WWED = What Would Eddy Do?
