It may be the clock pod itself... I remember having to put some longer self-tappers in to hold the halves together.

btw... I've removed your avatar picture... no full on nudies please!

Will try some longer self tapping screws, Will i need to remove the clocks to do this?

BTW sorry about the nude avatar. Hope this one's to your liking, i think its quite amusing.

Thanks

D.

Yes, you'll have to remove them or else you can't get at the screws. You don't have to disconnect them just pull 'em off the mounts.

Your avatar wasn't removed because I didn't like it.... I love a bit of bush myself but some folks view the site with their wives/kids in the background!

Hi,

I had a similar noise going over bumps, turned out to be the stand rubber-stop-bung missing.

Hi Dave. I noticed a sound coming form mine while I was travelling through France and Germany last week. Couldn't place it then I saw scratches on my yoke cover and realised it was the key to my disc lock - had it attached to the ignition key ring. Took it off and the rattling noise stopped. Maybe you have something similar?

That can be a sum of many reasons, mine was cracked headlight cover, noticed that when i made my headlight mod, and i had too a disclock key with my bike key.

I'd place my bet on a missing rubber plug in the front mounting of fuel tank. Quick and easy to check too thumbsup.gif

Have you got a flyscreen fitted? Could be that rubbing against the clock housing?
