Rear brake lever

Hi, I have a quick one about rear brake lever removal - what is involved?

By the looks of it the footrest plate/hanger needs to come off. But then that is held on by the swingarm pivot bolt. Surely this doesnt all need to come out just to change a brake lever, or haven't I looked closely enough?

Aye the RH hand cover has to come off and the pedal is on a pivot behind it!

Held on by a circlip on the pivot and a cotter pin on the master cylinder.
