Hi Carnage been using 5mm spacers between the frame and top shock mount for 5 years now its safe and makes the bike turn in quicker, 5mm at shock mount = 20mm at rear light height increase.

You can buy a spacer to fit between the shock mount and frame on e-bay, look under Honda Blackbird. You will see a rectangular piece of metal with a U shape cut out of it. Simply loosen the nut on the shock enough to slide the spacer in and re tighten the nut (use locktite if you feel it is necessary).

Hiya carnage, i made 2 L shaped blocks to jack mine up out of alum, fit between where the sub frame meets the main frame, works a treat and rises my back end by a good few inches.
