F1 Warning Light

out for a run saturday afternoon, boy racer decides to have a go so i opens up the throttle but this time no big smile. As i started to accellerate my x11 started to stutter it felt like it was running out of petol but as i glanced down i notied the red warning light on displaying F1 flashed for a moment then went out so i slowed and returned home. Since then i have started the bike and it starts fine ticks over nicely and seems to rev ok. But am worried about the warning light any idea where i should start cheers.
