How To Separate Front Discs?

Hi all, just need to know if i have to buy some sort of special tool to separate the front disc from the carrier?

When i re-do my wheels, i want the carriers a different colour, but need to know how to separate those rings?

You can't split those fella! They are a specialist fitting... you'll have to stick to your skills with the paintbrush!

The break disk is ONE piece, so keep it in one. Better not to mess with them...
