How empty is that clockhousing?

I'd be more worried about the pod falling to bits! It's not held together too well and I'd not want to put any more stress on it myself...

Eddy's right. The clock housing is a bit delicate. Mine sometimes dislodges itself if i hit a sunken manhole cover a bit too fast.

The rear of the housing should be ok though. Best to take it apart and drill any holes first.

Thanks guys! IF i will install it, i will pay attention to that weakness thing.

It is rather small thou, and i wont drill any holes before i see whats inside (oops, i have drilled my speedo or tachometer dead... no way.)

Main thing is that i want to hide my (coming) radar detector under something...
