Fuel Tank wobble...feed back required.

Just had a 16,000 service. All is good except I do not recall ever noticing

that the fuel tank will move ever so slightly side-to-side if you hold it and

rock it - only a 1/4" each way.

Does anyone elses?

May be it is supposed. Or do I need to tighten the fixings more?

Aye, they all do that... rubber mounts you see.

For piece of mind, make sure he's fitted the two bolts at the rear of the tank... lift your seat up and look.

Also there are two rubber blocks between the tank and frame bellow the knee pad areas , make sure these are there.

Bolts present and rubber seperators in place.

i recently took my tank off to have it sprayed when i put the tank back on i put the rubbers on the wrong way round and it did move a little bit side to side so i lifted the tank off again and turn the rubbers round and now it doesnt move at all it sits perfect,try turning yoru tank rubbers round mate
