Fork question

Thanks guys. I still haven't got the fork legs done - MOT due mid may!

I got a good price from the bloke Festa recommended, so if I can't find a cheap enough 'bird front end, I'll go down the replacing the fork legs route. Saying that, I've been told of an elderly fireblade being broken with a complete straight front end......!

Early Blade will have a 16" front wheel if it's still standard and then there's the issue with the brakes. x11 having linked and blade not, so the forks might not be able to carry the x's callipers and other linked gubbins.

Why not just remove the forks, strip them and paint them?

The blade does have a 16" wheel, so that's that idea binned!

It's not the lowers that are the problem, it's the other end!
