Posted July 3, 2018 To keep my bike cool during morning commutes in this hot weather I've been switching off at traffic lights. This morning at a busy junction it wouldn't restart. Checked the fuses, relays, switches at the side of the road. Got recovery back home and had a proper go at things. Battery was at 12.7v so should be fine. While removing more relays under the seat the negative post on the battery sparked and the fuel pressure noises and dash lights kicked in momentarily. Wiggled the earth cable and got it started. I'll be stripping it down to permanently sort tonight. Thanks to the forum I was able to find the problem by checking the common issues without throwing cash at it!
