I am ashamed !!!!

4 posts in this topic

My big eleven is getting lots of use of late...All weathers  commuting,

hooning, runs out to Harlech to stay overnight and then back again.

It gets the occassional wash and runs like clockwork....Its been a case of jumping

on the thing, pressing the button and off you go...But I noticed the past week or so that the gear

change has become pretty horibble and clucky..Finally gave the bike a proper checkover and found

that the drive chain was hanging like a washing line!!!!

My excuse is that I run a Scottoiler which seems to negate regular adjustment,,,,,But it still

needs to be done occassionaly..Shame on me...and potentially dangerous,

All adjusted and lovely now....

A warning to us all Andy, too easy to just jump on and go. Tyre pressures are important too.
