Charging system

Right, yet again my battery gave up the ghost, this has been replaced with a brand new one, also found out the regulator brand new was letting electric flow both ways, so this has been sent back. waiting for a new one to to turn up.  The stator passes every test no matter what I do, so the stator is fine.

 

Once I get the regulator back on the battery should then be receiving a charge, if not what else can I try?

Hopefully you get it sorted. I'm keeping an eye on your thread as I'm having a similar problem! Took my new X11 out the other day for a run, got back after around 50 or so miles and it was very hesitant in starting - sounding like a flat battery. I've got one of the wemoto regulators I can pinch off my project X but being lazy (and working too much) I haven't had chance to do any checks to try and narrow down why the battery doesn't appear to be charging.

Turned out to be the new regulator had crapped out, new regulator in and its fine.
