Front end handling and forks

Hi everyone,wondering if you have had any problems with soft front end on your x11's? i find that my turns in fine then dives halfway in the bend! which gets a bit hairy at speed.i seem to of solved this by fitting a 1inch shim into each fork to take up the slack,im also running the front wheel at 38psi now.which upside down forks will fit the x11? or do any of you have progressive fork springs fitted and do they help?
