how do i remover the foot peg arms

im getting foot peg rests/arms powder coated just one problem cant get them off,ive taken out the two allen bolt nuts then the plastic caps only to find its connected to the swing arm,is that bolt a bugger to get out is it a bag of cats in a river or is it a piece of wee?anyoen done it before please tell me how

Just remove the large bolt and the two 8mm ones below on either side after slackening the chain !!! - it comes out easily but make sure that you support the swingarm or it will drop.

There are spacers behind both arms - not interchangeable.

You will also have to remove the slave mounting bolts and spring etc if I can remember.

I removed mine a couple of years ago and JMC made me a pair of adapters to fit Gilles adjustable rearsets
