hi, everyone.....I've put recently an upside down pair of forks on myX11,but I have oil leak from both forks...only in braking and acceleration. When the bike is on its stand everything is OK...I asked some guys here and told me that probably the problem is the oil seals...I want to ask,is it possible to repair it myself(is it like the forks ,X11 has from HONDA,ONLY IT IS ....UP SIDE DOWN)?or I've to get it to someone to fix it?does anyone knows? I've bought already new oil seals, and fork oil and I am in temptation of doing it myself but afraid of making something wrong.....

Hi George I think you need the manual from the bike the forks are from , I'm sure the forks a repairable at home but you may need special tools so a manual will tell you this , If still not sure a dealer shouldn't charge too mutch if you remove the forks yourself, At a guess a dealer should take about an hour for each leg to strip clean and rebuild , plus they should have the correct tools.
