Wheel stuff question

5 posts in this topic

Hi all,

Looking to wavy disc the bike, powdercoat the wheels and swap out the bearings.

From what I can see the brakes & bearings are the same as the equivalent year Blackbird ? .... Right or wrong ?

Cheers.

Normally they should be; but if you want to be sure check X11 manual vs blackbird's and compare part numbers

Or just call your local honda dealer and ask (that's what I usually do)

I do remember that the two designations of x11 (sf-y sf-1) have different part numbers for the brake discs, at least on the front. I can't remember about the rear.

Blackbird and X11 Fronts from Year 2000 both use 6204 bearings but wheel assys are different part no's also the Blackbird uses the same disc part no's both sides but the X uses different part no's for each side and are different no's to blackbird.

Rear wheel assy's are different part no's too but both use 6304UU bearings both side of the wheels.

Hope this helps
