Fuel Stabiliser...

2 posts in this topic

Does anyone on here ever use one of the many fuel stabilisers on the market.

A few of my bikes probably wont be getting much use over the next few months

and I was wondering if adding some would be of benefit???

Are they any good?

Are they a load of cobblers?

I am using stabilizers when i am doing winter storage service for boat engines.

That goes in the fuel tank.

For the engine it self, i empty the fuel system and run in this https://www.neste.com/en/companies/products/fuels/smal-engine-gasoline

that will be good after the winter.

So, to my mind best is to use that small engine gasoline and stabilizers for existing fuel that you cant use away. Customers might be little bit annoyed if i empty their fuel tanks just saying that the gasoline will be bad after winter.

For my bike i use also that small engine gasoline for the winter.
